Mayor de Blasio said the city has “the right to terminate contracts...if a criminal act has been committed, and a criminal act has been committed.” In response to the announcement, President Trump’s son Eric said NYC “has no legal right to end our contracts and if they elect to proceed, they will owe The Trump Organization over $30 million dollars.”
