Equifax accused of mishandling its massive data breach

The credit reporting agency responded to reports of a massive data breach by offering free credit monitoring. Unfortunately, some were wary of Equifax's ID protection service, which was apparently worded to prevent customers from joining class action lawsuits.

Not to fear! Equifax is offering free credit monitoring for all 143M Americans affected by its own breach! The madness has to stop.

Btwn requiring my SSN to check if my SSN was stolen and making me sign away my right to sue, Equifax seems to be botching this response.
