Mainers have come together to support each other through the coronavirus pandemic, but unfortunately Trump & Republicans have allowed partisan bickering to get in the way of progress and allowed special interests and big corporations to step to the front of the line. #mepolitics

We have a legacy of racism in our country that manifests itself in everything from health care to education. Whether we’re talking about the racial disparities in COVID cases or police brutality, it’s clear that we need change, and I’m committed to doing that work. #mepolitics

Climate change is one of the most urgent challenges of our lifetime, and we need to take immediate action. In Maine, we’ve taken bold steps and set an example for states across the country. I’m proud to be endorsed by @NRDC_af and @LCVoters. #mepolitics

As Speaker, I led the Legislature to pass the most aggressive goals our state has ever seen for reducing carbon emissions and increasing renewable energy production, and taking bold & immediate action on climate change will be one of my top priorities in the Senate. #mepolitics

Our student debt crisis forces young people to make impossible financial decisions. I helped pass the Maine Student Bill of Rights to protect against predatory student loan lenders and have worked to make community college & vocational education more accessible. #mepolitics

Maine’s lobstermen and women are stewards of our waters, and they’re willing to make sacrifices to protect natural resources. We owe it to them to ensure that when we ask them to make these sacrifices, the solution is one that will actually get at the problem. #mepolitics

Senator Collins has been a key part of Trump’s efforts to pack the courts with far-right judges. Reproductive rights, civil rights & health care are on the line because of her votes. As senator, I will only vote to confirm qualified nominees who respect precedent. #mepolitics
