There's been a nasty uptick in stigmatisation and finger-pointing ever since cases started increasing in VIC. It doesn't make anyone safer. Promote, educate, role model and facilitate (as says)

we have a toddler-size mask from last bushfire season - I think he wore it for all of 5 seconds & we gave up. Will a mask become the seatbelt/hat normal of this new generation?

Groundhog Day: 5th day running with new community cases in teens. A tired metaphor, but NSW still on knife-edge. Interested what % new community cases over last week in self-isolation *prior* to detection, vs “linked” to clusters after detection. Hopefully, vast majority former.

Follow-up ongoing in this study of depot buprenorphine. Should provide a valuable further option for people with opioid drug dependence. In time of Covid-19, less frequent dosing (monthly) will be welcome for many.

I’m optimistic too, re Covid-19 vaccine. But, not sure about precise timeline. And, who is “the U.S.” Does it include the most vulnerable: people in aged care facilities, people experiencing homelessness, people who are incarcerated? Let’s hope. Maybe a few non-U.S. folk too.
