Scotland enters full lockdown until at least the end of January
Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced stricter COVID-19 restrictions on Monday to combat the increasing spread of the virus. The new rules, which went into effect from midnight on Tuesday and will be in place until at least the end of January, include a legal requirement for everyone in Scotland to stay at home except for essential purposes.
