Dr. Anthony Fauci says ‘it would be better’ if Trump administration health officials worked with Biden's transition team

Fauci, the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told CNN’s Jake Tapper that it was “obvious” a smooth transition to a Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration would help public health officials as they continue to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. He also added that Trump hasn't attended a White House coronavirus task force meeting in five months.
