75,000 people evacuated in Japan’s west as torrential rain sparks floods and landslides
Around 75,000 people in Japan’s Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures have been told to evacuate their homes as heavy rain causes major flooding and mudslides. Another 200,000 people across the greater Kyushu region have been told to take shelter.
