The CDC now says COVID-19 "does not spread easily" from contaminated objects, surfaces or animals. "Direct contact with an infected person has the highest likelihood of getting infected rather than accepting a newspaper or a FedEx guy dropping off a box."https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2020/05/21/virus-does-not-spread-easily-contaminated-surfaces-or-animals-revised-cdc-website-states/ …

Dr.
@angie_rasmussen "said the new CDC language will not alter her habits. 'I wash my hands after handling packages and wipe down shared surfaces with household disinfectant,' she said. 'In my opinion, that’s all that is necessary to reduce risk.'"https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2020/05/21/virus-does-not-spread-easily-contaminated-surfaces-or-animals-revised-cdc-website-states/ …Thanks. Re: animals, this is what zoonosis experts and vets have been saying all along in light of cases of infected dogs, cats, tigers.
