Shakira's halftime 'zaghrouta' is both a meme and a teachable moment
Shakira's emphatic tongue-wag sparked a number of jokes following her halftime performance. However, many were quick to explain that the Colombian artist — whose father is Lebanese — appeared to perform a traditional Arab vocal expression known as a "zaghrouta."
