    Some rioting has occurred in Paris today during latest weekly gilets jaunes protest, but important to note overall number of protesters in France is way down from what it originally was. Also unclear how many rioters are actually gj’s instead of others using opportunity to riot.

    Interior ministry figures for size of gj demos at 2pm are interesting. 10,000 in Paris and only 4,500 in rest of country. Overall same as last week but concentrated in capital. Official figs will grow as usual by end of day. But overall gj movement's decline is confirmed.
