  12. As I always say, and we can learn quite a bit from this simple formula for understanding jihadist groups as they stand today: - Al-Qaeda Central is Egyptian - ISIS is Iraqi - Nusra/HTS is Syrian - Hurras al-Din is Jordanian Any other dynamics are secondary.
