  7. Abu Dhabi, of course, eventually had to hold its nose & agree to go along with Riyadh’s drive to resolve the crisis. The UAE is still not happy with the outcome, it would have left the crisis for many years from now or indefinitively because it was working well for it. A fact.

  8. Btw, every single detail in these stories (covering the Gulf crisis from the start) proved right. Some things were hard to prove publicly & were disputed, such as the Saudi-UAE divergence over time on how to resolve the crisis & deal with regional problems
