We just had a cataclysmic event. It didn’t work.

Exactly. If a once-a-century pandemic can’t bring us together, we can’t be brought together. The screeching & howling only got worse as 600,000 people died.

Half of the country would deny the cataclysmic event even happened.

The People’s house was attacked by some of its own citizens and it only divided us more. Even those who were targets of the attack defended the criminal activity that took place on Jan 6. It’s pretty depressing, Henry.

I love that you are this idealistic, but over half 1 million Americans have died of Covid. If that didn’t work, nothing will.
-
That practically happens every year from tobacco use..400k+ deaths each year.. Not to mention covid was one of the major things being used to create the division in the first place. It was a dividing event.. not a come together one..

I'm afraid that's oversimplified. It's more like 1/3 of the country that no longer believes in the ideals of what America once aspired to be, rejects progress in things we have fought hard to overcome, and will not change as long as it means inclusion and accurate history.
-
The only question that I have here is the "ideals of what America once aspired to be" seems to be truly flawed! Ask anyone that sits outside the lines, of that aspiration!!! Race, religion, gender..... the list just goes on and on.....!!!
