For Xmas, I made a meal for all the Gamers out there. Gamer Ramen. Doritos Noodles, Baja Blast tori shio broth, Mountain Dew marinated egg, Mountain Dew braised pork, and Mountain Dew pickled daikon. Shio Tare was Ivan Orkin's shio sofrito tare mixed with the dewshi. Added it to a chintan broth made with chicken, apples, ginger, and onion.

This was actually a pretty good bowl of ramen. I don't make a lot of chintans so it was really nice to try something light. I played into the fruit flavors of the Baja Blast and it worked really well with the apple sofrito. Aroma oil also had some yuzu in it to ramp up the citrus

A problem I encountered was a muddy broth that messed with the color, so I had to clarify it with an egg white raft like a consommé. The broth also diluted the beautiful Baja Blast color so I had to reinforce the teal by steeping butterfly pea in the chintan.pic.twitter.com/SwL3aZnc3y
