You think that the scientific fact that there are personality differences between men and women that make them interested in different things is irrelevant?

I think the differences exist because of socialization and not anything biological. There's social stigma against girls going into male dominated fields and encouraging more women to apply slightly alleviates it. It's not reverse-sexist to try to lower the barrier against women.

Or perhaps it's the other way around. The socialization exists because women tend to have those specific interests.

You mean so few women? Yeah there are lot of male dominated jobs that feminists ignore when they are complaining about sexism. They only focus on the cushy, prestigious ones. Take mining for example; too dangerous for feminists to complain about. We'll leave it to men.

It literally says that the percentage of women in that job is astronomically smaller than men

Yes and it says that that's a problem? The thing "feminists don't complain about"?

No. I don’t think its a problem. I think people should do whatever they want without anyone forcing them to anything. Forcing jobs to be only aplicable for women it’s sexist as it is doing the opposite. Same for races. Women just tend to not go to certain jobs. Thats fine and ok

Do they actually "just happen to choose not to" or are they actively discouraged from doing so? Because that's generally what actually happens, like from personal experience I was almost pushed out of programming classes dozens of times but I stayed out of pure spite.

I was also severely harassed when I started doing voleyball. Everyone told me it was a girls sport. This is not one sided. Douches are douches. People will always try to stop you from doing anything
