The letter had all of about 0% misogyny in it, so yeah, he was fired for talking about non-PC stuff. Ie: facts that they don't like talking about because they don't support the political agenda's narrative. Misogyny is just the excuse they used to fire him.

It's not a "fact" that women are biologically less sable to perform in computer science tasks. That's dumb as hell.

He never said that they were. You might want to read the memo yourself and listen to his claims.

I read it and there's not really a functional difference between his claims and "women are biologically worse at programming"

You are wildly misinterpreting his memo. His claims were not even close to that.

Google apparently read it the same way I did. Are you sure you're not the one misinterpreting it?

James's claim was that personality differences made women less interested in tech than men were. It had nothing to do with ability.pic.twitter.com/q54uAROP5u

You think that the scientific fact that there are personality differences between men and women that make them interested in different things is irrelevant?

I think the differences exist because of socialization and not anything biological. There's social stigma against girls going into male dominated fields and encouraging more women to apply slightly alleviates it. It's not reverse-sexist to try to lower the barrier against women.

Its the other way around. When a girl goes to do kickboxing everyone goes “wow she is so brave. When a man goes to ballet classes people go “lol what a pussy lmao”
