    In fact, ghcide started as an IDE for our language at . Since the DAML compiler is based on GHC, it made a lot of sense to factor out a standalone Haskell IDE. That's what eventually became ghcide.

    Hyped up by me, but credit for this one is shared between lots of people! A effort building on lots of work from many people.
