    Yaaay! I now have an official landing page on Amazon Video! I have two titles up now, plan to add more in the future, including early docs from 2004, 2005 and 2008. Exciting times!

    I want to thank for being one major influencer to pursue this dream. I've always loved the weather, but being a supporter of Mark and watching what he does pushed me to reach for the stars!

    This is very serious and often overlooked by the public as a legitimate weather hazard. A lot of people are headed to the beach over the next few days from inland areas. Be aware and stay safe!

    ~80% of local rip current deaths are people from inland areas, including states such as OH & KY. If you vacation at the beach, you need to know about rip currents & other hazards. Help us spread awareness to protect your friends & family.

    The good news is that deep convection or thunderstorm activity remains limited due to dry air all around. The bad news is: more rain regardless for areas that absolutely don’t need it 😕

    The situation in the western Gulf is escalating quickly with NHC now bumping chances for development up to 60% with Invest 91L. A tropical depression or storm could form by early this weekend as it approaches Texas.

    Great analysis from Jake regarding 90L!

    is still working, but a dive into visible satellite shows signs of progress to becoming named. Better-organized convection, especially south of the low-level center, has helped develop a modest warm core. Tropical transitions take time, but it seems to be on its way.

    Still frame from our high altitude balloon testing today. We launched from Calumet, OK and the payload ascended to about 98,000 feet before the balloon burst and sent it back to Earth. Using satellite and APRS tracking, we picked it up near Medicine Lodge, KS.

    Payload made it to 90k feet high over Oklahoma today. GoPro was still going after 5 hours and temps in the upper atmosphere well below zero. Will share some clips tomorrow.
