I love the e-piano modes too - it also has vibes! Why why why did I struggle for two years to transpose my innate understanding of notes from piano to guitar? Live and learn I guess! I love goofing on it - if I figure out anything fun I will post it :) ❤️🙏✌️

I followed the sage advice of and got a Yamaha - my piano (which is at my parents house) is a Yamaha - and I really like how it sounds. I got the p515 because ... fuck it, I'm not replacing it any time soon. Plus the action is 🥰

I like to sing too - tho it will take work to make that happen while playing with both hands. I will probably buy some Carol King sheet music ... Fleetwood Mac and of course Elton John. Any other suggestions?

I'm not great yet - but i like picking stuff out of my memory and trying to do it again after ... jesus ... 35 years? I took 10 years of lessons starting at 3, but I gave up because I wasn't able to play Rhapsody in Blue from memory. What a pint-sized perfectionist!

I got myself a digital piano for my upcoming birthday, after years of thinking I should try other instruments. Already gave me so much joy - shoulda done it years ago. I'm looking forward to remembering! My left hand already waking up from today's practice. 😊

We need genius at many levels of society and especially brave thinkers who like to ponder systems at large and can hold on to disparate, ambiguous information and uncertain outcomes in order to problem solve and innovate. Don't assume it isn't you! 🥰

Systemic issues may have kept you from seeing how gifted you are - especially as an adult... even if you were tested and placed in special programs in elementary or high school. Learning to channel your intensity into a mission you believe in takes work - but you can do it! 💜

Do people often ask you why you feel things so intensely? Are you seemingly baffling to others who don't understand your various and passionate interests? Do you struggle to feel seen, accepted or appreciated despite many joys and accomplishments? Perhaps you are a gifted adult:

A few years ago when I told my dad I wanted to pursue games as a career, he told me he was disappointed in me. Today, he sent me this picture and said he’s proud of me and can’t wait to play the games I work on 🥺

I also took a year-long Bible Studies course in college and considered going for a PhD in philosophy or divinity (or both). How this old art and old books nerd ended up making video games I still am not quite sure I understand :)
