We're considering porting our game Oquonie to Uxntal, that would mean a near total revamp of the assets to make them readable in small resolutions, but the result would be a single rom that runs on every platform and that can live-on, independently of platforms deterioration.

Could you upgrade your platform to support slightly higher resolutions instead?

The supported resolution can be as wide/tall as $0000-ffff. But the thing is that uxn gives us instant GBA/NDS support, storing assets at that size makes more sense for 16-bit addressable storage, otherwise we'd need to stream larger assets. But we I don't think we can do both.

I LOVE the game, but I think if you xan accept just making it a regular C program for most consumer systems, it would still live on. Not to the degree you seek, but I also think you should prioritize new works. So... A compromise.

C is not as portable as you think, especially for GUI applications.

I don’t know much about computers, but I’m wondering if it is possible to create a programming language.

It is, Uxntal is our dream programming language that we couldn't find.

Oh cool, it’s a shame that the resolution can’t be the same, but I can’t wait to play it.
