One of the last things I said to a Proff before graduation was "I miss the spontaneity I used to have. I think I will try to find that again."

Find an artist whose style appeals to you. Master their technique. Thru repeated effort you will slowly branch out on your own. Good luck & have fun!

There are many examples of inspired art works between one artist & another: see "Oberon, Titania & Puck with Fairies Dancing" by Wm. Blake, 1786, and "The Dance" by Matisse, 1910:pic.twitter.com/IdOzRu4ajA

Trust your talent and what makes you unique. Your art doesn't have to speak to everyone. If it makes you happy and you are proud of it that's what matters.

Best lesson I ever had in high school was copying one artist in the style of another. I chose a Rembrandt (Woman Bathing) in the style of Lautrec. I found my own style through this exercise because it makes you see things in a different way.
