Wow, people talk about exercise as though it's torture. They'd literally rather wake up in terror. It's admittedly unfun at first, but gradually your body tolerates it, then craves it. I feel like once fat people realize this, they don't stay fat.

I agree. For a few days i dreaded waking up because i felt 3.5km jogging was torture, now it is the favorite part of my morning routine, and I want to go further, maybe do 4.5 daily. I sleep better, i feel better, and although no "physical changes" yet, my body says thanks!

Guy seems like he's suffering more from anxiety than overweight. Poor fellow, hope things turn around for him.

I hate how everyone is giving him more dieting advice 😞 This sounds like severe anxiety which seems the more urgent need.

Sending love your way. Stay the course. Make small changes to your diet, stress level, etc. You got this!

It seems like many of us in our 40's + 50's ++ have something health-related we're working on, where progress may not be happening as quickly as hoped, leading to frustration, etc. These words of encouragement are so lovely! Thank you for this 🙂 Now following! 😊👋

I feel the exact same way. I’d give anything for it to not be a constant issue. Just can’t seem to get control of this one thing! Grrr.

Exercise need not be a chore, especially if it's done out of necessity, as that triggers anxiety. I enjoy dancing & for the past 3 years, I attend a 2 hour dance class every Saturday. I start sweating in 5mins. Best part of my weekends! The rest of my work outs follow naturally.

The Nat'l Center for Health Statistics says over 70% of Americans are officially overweight. In short, he's not alone.
