“She couldn’t love me but I could love her” 
It is incredibly sad what her mother went through. Never again we say. Imagine the thousands of trauma cases that are being created right now in America with the kids separated from their parents....
The last part is a gut punch. This is what war causes and it's really sad how close we are 


Intergenerational trauma. Very human story.
Heart-wrenching. She may not have physically died in the war but her soul was extinguished. In a way it’s worse.

Just as it's passed through action and memories, trauma is also passed through DNA from one generation to the next.
