I've felt like that most of my life, its the society we live in, no matter how hard we try, it's never enough, this is typical for a large portion of society today, not just you sister. Keep on going, your doing just fine. Embrace the good things you have in your life

I relate to this so hard....
I think most of us, even well into adulthood and middle age, are still trying to figure out life as we go along. There’s no “right” way.

You said everything I was thinking as I read this! There is no “right” way in life and the fact that’s she’s 65 and still learning and growing as a person tell me she’s going to be alright
when we are willing to change it can make all the difference - 1 more reply

sending this person so much love
its easy to fall into the mindset that you should be in a certain place or have certain things by a certain age in order to be a “good” human. these “rules” aren’t real. there’s no right way to experience life, we find our path by walking it

This is not your fault! The economic system is rigged to keep working people in dire circumstances. People working full time for 40 years, often two or three jobs shouldn't be scraping by.

I would recommend Daring Greatly by Breneé Brown to this person. It's not too late.
