I know no one asked but... I would recommend getting out & doing some volunteer work on a regular schedule. Helping other people or animals could help him too. To paraphrase Ricky Gervais, Go do things for other people, try to make someone else’s life a little bit easier.

Kiddo, it sounds to me like you are using that anxiety to hide something else. Or better, your anxiety is caused by something else bubbling beneath the surface. Hint: the point in life is just living it and enjoying it, nothing else.
