Don't try to just get better. Explore that anger. I've found that all my anger is actually pain that hasn't been felt, validated,acknowledged. It sounds to me (and I'm no expert) that you need soothing, acceptance, contention. You're not alone kiddo. Love for you :)

I recently made the same realization about anger! In my recent therapy session, I realized that although I acknowledged my anger, I was minimizing it, which was why my depression relapsed was so hard to deal with.

Stuffing emotions and pretending all is well will always backfire. Face them head on, get help to sort them out. Empathy toward others is what will help to save us all, we need more of it. We all have our struggles, we are ALL imperfect. Xx

Don't surpress your anger. You will always have this lingering fear of exploding at some point. Try to find a way to channel it (maybe smth like karate). You're not alone. Clearly your students like you or they wouldn't have approached you like that. Hope you get through it!!
