My dad passed on Saturday. He was ready to go, too, but from disease instead of age. We really need better options for people to choose their own times of death, legally and medically. =\

Sorry to hear. I totally agree. I lost my mom to cancer 2 weeks ago. She kept telling us she was done and ready, but it was awful watching her suffer in the hospital those last few days

Usually it’s the family and not the person themselves. And that’s how selfish some have gotten. Imagine telling your mom or dad “you can’t die because I would miss you too much.” You’re making dying individuals feel worse. As a worker in the healthcare industry this happens a lot
