I just know my mom was playing a character because she is my best friend all of a sudden like "what!" Can't believe i was so mean to her when she was just trying to make me a functional adult.

I don't know, this kinda creeps me out a bit. I wouldn't want to find out that my dad had been flat-out lying to me my whole life. Consistency is good but not being genuine... eh, kinda creepy.

I think he’s just giving them a sense of structure and discipline sunshine.

Imagine not being who you are so you can train another human. Parenting is for saints

Where have you people been! Yes, yes. I agree, thanks for saying that.

Maybe loosen up and quit being a "character." I'm sure your kids would love to play video games or wrestle around a bit with you. They're only young a very short while.

When they are a bit older please. Not now. Now, they need to understand that being firm is a necessity.

I can actually relate to this. Playing the strict parent when I'm really chill af. But I have to raise this child to compete in this world and still be a balanced individual so.

This is so me. I’m not strict at all but chill all the time. So now I’m trying to be an adult and I hate it. This can’t be good. It’s boring.
