So we are just going to ignore the socioeconomic issues post apartheid? All in the name of “you cant blame racism, colonialism”. Institutionalized racism hinders one from creating wealth, you deal with issues like job profiling etc

This is intellectually dishonest. This is what you get when all the history you know is 100 years and your lived experiences are a few km around you. Did he really say, "Would you know enough honest people to form a government?" & "our culture doesn't place a premium on honesty?"

I think it is projection to say if you made it out of the slums poor and honest other people can too,we are forgetting that not everyone has the same capabilities,yes we should self reflect and take blame where its due but we cannot disassociate our problems from d effects ...

Harsh self-criticism, a steep bias against slavery history, and a dangerous generalization. Someone would wish it is as simple and straightforward , but it is not . Felt his anger and discontent , and I was disturbed by his obscure and gloomy outlook.
