These two excellent replies would be helpful to remember in any reactionary situation.
It is redirected anger that starts wars; those small, personal ones and also the large.

Anger is real yes.But often anger can also b a mask for other hidden emotions that we feel vulnerable to acknowledge. If you tackle d other emotions anger’s power weakens. consider an iceberg, what floats above is the anger we show. Below are feelings that trigger the anger.

There are so many women who feel angry too. Only men can feel anger? I was angry after my divorce, always feeling like men only wanted me for sex. Angry that all sex acts were now expected. Angry that online dating was the ONLY way to meet people. There’s lots of anger.

This piece is in no way saying that only men can feel anger?

A lot of people feel ugly & ignored, but don't resort to anger & violence toward others, instead internalizing the anger into self-loathing & self-injurious behavior.

You want to talk about anger? I'm still angry that when I was young and pretty, incels fixated on me and acted as if I owed them something. Their persistence sometimes escalated to harassment. There was no word for 'incels' back then. We called them what they were: losers.

1. You think ridiculing them will solve the problem? 2. HONY is about recognising that everyone has a story, not judging whether it’s a valid one, or saying my emotion was more valid than someone else’s.
