If BTC miners were public, we can increase BTC throughput speeds dramatically but how do we prevent them from being censored by governments?
The whole point of Bitcoin is that you don't have to trust *anyone*. If you have to trust a select few to provide mining, you're screwed.

Sounds good in theory but we still have to trust exchanges, vendors, developers, etc. cuz humans are involved so we will always need trust.
