I respect their investment circle of competency. For me, their wisdom is timeless, not the specific choices (see also: missing out on tech investments). More importantly: doesn’t fit their thesis! That being said, a modern Munger wouldn’t miss out :)
Agreed. For me what this shows is that even the wisest among us can fall victims to human’s numerous shortcomings. Even when they’re deeply aware of it!!! We all like to think we’re the exception, but that in itself is a big fallacy.
