Someone said, I forgot who, but if you desire the properties of ProgPoW, write another code for Ethash with those properties instead of using IfDefElse's code. IfDefElse/ProgPoW/CoreScientific/CW+Calvin Ayre connection just stink the whole thing.

Political and personal associations shouldn't rule out a the technology, especially if it is likely to achieve it's goals. The IP issues are concerning and need to be addressed.

From few last dev core calls, there was consensus to push ProgPow further, if audit will be without security issues. So why now start another political discussion ? It this phase, it's only on dev core team, how to manage with audit results.

Who is this random account with 4 followers? ProgPOW is a political decision, not only a technical one. The audit was preliminary to qualify it for discussion at all. Now that we have the audit, we still need to discuss whether or not to go through with it.
