So, here’s your bias: " There is no value in constantly feeling "safe”.”. You assume that, outside of this conference, the others involved are generally safe. I think you know that to be untrue. Now look at John & Charles. Are they generally safe? Probably more so.

If all parties involved here are generally safe, as you assert, then yeah I _might_ have a problem with this whole situation. Maybe. But as of now, it’s extremely asymmetrical.
