It shocks me how rarely I see people make the connection between "funding open source" and "funding human life." You search for and together and there is NOTHING. OSS funding can't and won't be solved in isolation. We need to widen the solution space.

I learned some lessons in our adoption process: - Education is transformative, never underestimate its power. - Best way to improve someone's life is through love and care. - Best way to improve your life is by loving and taking care of someone. If you have the chance, adopt.

Is there any actual benefit to adding a "books:isbn" meta tag for your "og:type"=""? Does FB or anyone else use that for anything? Does it get better SEO?

We actually use your configured registry regardless of value in the resolved field. (You can verify this with `npm i --loglevel=http`) This is annoying bit of package-lock churn whose origin is not entirely clear, but ultimately harmless.

So if I delete `package-lock.json` and run it downgrades a bunch of "resolved" urls from HTTPS to HTTP. I've reported it to the security team a while ago and heard nothing back. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, SSR is still relevant. It's not as simple as saying "Google runs JS nowadays so we don't need SSR". comes to mind as the superior choice in most cases.

I'm strongly of the opinion that you have to have RSS (or Atom, etc) in order to actually have a blog. Otherwise you just have a website with some pages on it, no matter what you call it.

FOSS can be tough on maintainers. One really simple trick to maintain positivity is to say something nice at the end of your issue reports. "Thank you for your hard work" or "I love this project." It's small, but it makes a big difference.
