    Lots of stuff on TV about Covid testing. Just for balance, my elderly father in law is routinely tested and there has never been a delay. Our nearest centre is about 15min away in Newcastle. I pass it often and have never seen anyone going in let alone waiting

    Bit of a nightmare day today - Wednesday 1st July. Wednesday is named after Woden - a Norse god. Unfortunately, Vikings were notorious slave traders. July is named after Julius Caesar - head of the bloodthirsty slave trading Roman Empire. The renaming campaign starts here 😂

    People say morning telly is rubbish, but where else can you watch a reporter doing a piece to camera sitting atop a rubber ring whilst being pushed around by a bloke in hi viz waders 😂

    I just don’t get this show. What are the panel for? Is there a prize? Why does it look like some weird Japanese show Clive James would have made fun of in the eighties? Are they actually singing live? Do I care?

    Great journey down to London today by Made even better by the excellent manager announcements. I liked it when he pointed out various landmarks to see - including the Emirates Stadium , home to ( as he put it) “the premier league’s perennial under achievers - Arsenal “. 😂
