One that stands out for me: visiting Hollywood for the first time in May 2017 and seeing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 at Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Excellent movie and phenomenal experience.

Other notable experiences: -The opening moments of La La Land and knowing it was immediately one of my favorite films. -Needing to just sit for a few minutes after seeing Honey Boy and processing it. -Going into Love and Mercy blind, and being completely blown away.

Don’t know how I could forget my two experiences sneaking into R-rated movies: -Snuck in and LOVED Tropic Thunder -Got hilariously locked out of Pineapple Express. Worth it.

Watching Dunkirk. I was avoiding the bullet sounds and covering my head because of the sound of sand falling while everyone else is calmly watching the film. I was obviously an IMAX first-timer.
