Perhaps having an option of frequency: - All the time - Once a week - Let YouTube decide/recommend If the channel uploads more than once a week the notification could be condensed/grouped to avoid spam

As a creator I would find it interesting to see which of my subscribers have actually clicked the bell. As a subscriber can no longer be classed as a 'subscriber' in the original sense of the word it could be a useful metric

We hear you. The default setting is to receive "occasional" notifications, but if you tap the bell for a specific channel and choose *all notifications* then you receive all notifications for every upload. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. My point is that the UI/UX isn't straight forward or obvious to the normal viewer and it dilutes the meaning of a 'subscriber'. I understand the technical reasoning behind it but not with the approach
