Alarak of the storm

You know what, ok... I'm going off. Let's talk about video games. I'll start with myself. I'm alive because of the mental care I was given by friends I have made in the @Warcraft community -- especially when I needed it the most while deployed in Afghanistan.

2. The constant need to shirk responsibility for terrible acts of violence on an industry that has done more good than any other is mind-blowing. I've seen people raise money for differently-abled children, terminally ill kids, environmental initiatives, suicide prevention...

3. This year has seen some challenges at work as you all know but the blessing that came out of it was finding new friends like @Vipey_ and @Macd00dle ... And together we found some genuinely amazing people to bring into @PlaytheSAGA promoting tolerance and positivity.

4. I refuse to let gun-toting NRA pricks have the opportunity to derail important conversations about gun voilence and reform by pointing it at us. The people I've met whether developers, community managers, content creators have all been amazing and passionate people.

5. So no, you are not allowed to blame video games for the myriad of mass shootings one of which was in my hometown of El Paso where my family currently resides. Immigrants aren't the problem either -- so what else ya got?
