Funny what causes you to reflect in life. 2.5yrs ago van was first big purchase when we began the practice. 100k miles later and a lot of cows cared for and meds delivered it’s time to say goodbye. We’ve come a long way but it does feel like losing a member of team!

Today’s lunchtime number crunching... For every extra 5 litres of milk yield we get an extra 3 litres of slurry per cow. Over a pen of 200 cows that’s an extra 600 litres of slurry per day... So the higher the yield, the more frequently we need to scrape those passageways!
