There's no time frame for EU trade negotiations either. You don't need FTAs to export. They'll just target markets where they're competitive

The UK can and does still trade with the world. Lower external tariffs so imports become cheaper. Let the UK concentrate on its strengths.

CU distorts the internal market so that it is not competitive in the world market. Outside, UK can rebalance economy to be world competitive
