What's your timeframe for negotiations for all our new FTAs and what do exporters do in the meantime?
There's no time frame for EU trade negotiations either. You don't need FTAs to export. They'll just target markets where they're competitive

There doesn't need to be a timeframe for EU. We already have SM, 50+ FTAs and 100s MRAs. How long to replace and what happens in interim?

The UK can and does still trade with the world. Lower external tariffs so imports become cheaper. Let the UK concentrate on its strengths.

It is to the UK's benefit to be world competitive, not just SM competitive. The SM is getting less and less significant on the world stage.

CU distorts the internal market so that it is not competitive in the world market. Outside, UK can rebalance economy to be world competitive
