Hi, looks good! However, I wouldn't use the spectral-like color map. At least in the visual system this makes me think of a spectra-/wavelength-dependence, whereas it's used here rather for a spatial mapping.

Thanks. I expect/fear I will end up using parula(yellow/blue gradient) and everyone will know I'm hooked on Matlab!

Super nice ! I would rotate the last scheme of V1 and higher order areas by 90° clockwise since it is the way it is usually presented at least in calcium imaging/electrophysiological studies

D+E, yes; F no (only picked because I liked the red/purple/blue gradient)

Yes. This and corticocortical I omitted there (intent was to focus on ascending path and show lamination of thalamic input)
