Then there are ~24 types of bumblebee. Saw lots of tree bees, white-tailed bees & carder bees today. Earlier in yr, red bottomed bees common

They're all bigger and fluffier than honeybees. Bees love lavender, so good for bee spotting and planting for the lil balls of fluff.

Bumblebees love drinking lime tree nectar, but it gets them drunk so if you see lots of dead bumblebees under a tree that's probably why
