Or it could be damage control. Strike when the time is right. Is it so far fetched to think that a president could say one thing and be thinking/planning something different? There is a reason we know only what we need to know.

I think the Right needs to realize that Trump broke the Left, so even though historically, viruses were named after regions...we are dealing with broke pull-string muppets. So this is just normal acting out behaviour

They contained it eventually. The Chinese did not make Trump claim it was just the flu or refuse WHO test kits or defund the CDC or close down the Pandemic task force.
