Oh, there's a host of reasons why one would *prefer* a screen or think it's the same, none good. Apart from sheer practicality or convenience.

Really, I agree. Though I don't have quite the reaction to the truth of that that I see some folks having right now, partly because it's very old news to me, and partly given I have experienced a lot of real obstacles finding the in person opportunities.
