Yes I have said that about a hundred times now that he obviously should have talked to his daughter before going to the cops. But hey let’s all shame this guy for making a parenting mistake.
He shamed his 11 year old kid for a child mistake. Then he asked the internet for its opinion. He deserves whatever he gets for either of those alone.
He SPECIFICALLY went on AITA looking for feedback, regarding a matter that was handled EXCEPTIONALLY poorly. Yes, parents make mistakes. This was particularly egregious, and he quite literally asked for opinions.
On thinking further, I guess there's a greater level of backlash, when someone shares on AITA in a matter which is obviously a mistake/fuckup. Essentially, if they didn't have the sense to see how wrong it was AFTER the fact, then sharing it makes it worse.
