didn’t say it was good parenting. I said it was a common tactic. Also said he should have obviously talked to his daughter first but everyone makes mistakes parenting and I’m sure that you did at some point if you ever had kids also.
It’s a bad tactic, and he’s a bad person
Got news, it’s not a common tactic. It maybe something a lot of terrible people applaud on Yahoo News, but it is not in fact a common tactic but rather a waste of public resources.
Yes I have said that about a hundred times now that he obviously should have talked to his daughter before going to the cops. But hey let’s all shame this guy for making a parenting mistake.
It's not common to involve police in a petty theft YOU set your kid up to do.
Forgetting to give your kid lunch money is a mistake. Yelling at them for something they didn't do is a mistake. Calling the cops on your child is not a mistake, it is a grandiose use of power to tackle something that could have easily been worked out by a rational adult.
This isn't just a mistake. This could damage their relationship for years and especially since he doesn't understand what he did wrong. Parenting mistakes are only acceptable if they are learned from and can apologize to their kid but this dude for understand how shitty it was
