Seeing as the Govt is persisting in its stupid idea of issuing the commemorative #Brexit 50p, my wife and I will be donating any we get to our favourite charity, and claiming gift aid on it to try and make up for government underfunding. Please share if you think it’s a good idea

Good idea, but instead of giving the charity the 50p throw it away and just give them the value. Best to get them out of circulation.

We can’t even have peace, prosperity and friendship for our own citizens. Disabled, food banks, homeless, kids in poverty, Windrush, hostile environment, etc... Suggest everyone collect the coins and donate it to charity.
-
Yep, straight to the homeless, combat stress or a Food bank, peace and prosperity my arse, what a waste of our money, twice, gimmick politics

Every single one will be taken out of circulation immediately. I used to collect £2 coins. Let’s all switch to 50p.

What about about buying an engraving tool and inscribing each one with some choice words? Bollocks to Brexit wouldn't go amiss. I'll start with that.
