    I wish slip fielders would look at the size of batsman before sledging him. Years ago as umpires we had to intervene after big guy who was batting wanted to hit slip fielder with bat in Lenasia. Luckily, we managed to contain situation. There was no more sledging after that. 😅😂

    Some cashiers and waiters are dicing with their jobs. They befriend people who harass customers. Most customers hate to be pestered while waiting in the queue. In the long run, being harassed can chase away customers, leading to closure of that business.

    Having a body guard is just a status thing and state of mind. If someone wants you dead badly, they'll take you out. Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi are prime example.

    Spirit of Ubuntu once thrived in this country. People used to take long journeys and survived on kindness of strangers for food and accommodation. People used to open their doors, hearts and meagre wallets for those strangers. All that now is a distant memory.

    All buildings around Mall of Africa had lights blazing last night while there was in the area. is in more trouble than it cares to admit. Most companies are learning to source alternative power supplies. It was only traffic lights which were off.

    I know SA roads are not for the faint hearted but rain seems to get worst out of us motorists. There was an accident last night on N1 which involved a number of cars. It was on N1 south just before Rivonia turn off. There was another one on Killer Road next to Orlando Stadium.
