Breed says she’ll seek a $25 million budget supplemental for overtime for police officers to focus on drug dealing and property crime. “I am not ok with open air drug dealing in this city. Period….We need to enforce the law.” She says break-ins also require a prompt response.

Worst Wordle performance in history, but if you add tiny pedestrians and bicyclists, it could be car-free JFK Promenade? 😆 🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩

NIMBYs move to cities to be in a lively, fun environment but then don’t actually like liveliness or fun

My latest column: San Franciscans have long adored Bissap Baobab, a West African restaurant and dance hall. But the owner’s attempt to run a bigger, better version on Mission Street has run into a familiar foe: complaining condo owners next door. sfchronicle.com/sf/bayarea/hea

honestly, if you want peace and quiet, move to the burbs, not Mission Street. Bissap Baobab is a treasure; let them do their thing.

"Buying a property in SF doesn't mean your neighbors will never change; in fact, it's almost guaranteed. And buying property on Mission near 19th Street and complaining about nightlife is like buying property on the twisty part of Lombard Street and complaining about tourists."

Baobab is one of my favorite places in SF. when I moved to the bay it was one of the only places that reminded me of the Caribbean and felt like home. If they wanna expand, they should be able to do so, it's good for the culture in SF!

Man, there are few things I despise more than people moving to THE CITY and then complaining when their neighborhoods change or get noisier. Move to the suburbs!!!

Friend who had baby 2mo ago just did her first stroller run: enabled by obstacle-free Car Free JFK, incl breastfeeding breaks on the yellow adirondacks. She easily drove over from SE SF. This is the best thing for SF families. Shout it from the rooftops! @KidSafeSF @hknightsf
